Commercialisation Support (Komercializācijas atbalsts)

Funds the path from a research result to a commercial offer: commercialisation strategy, feasibility study, industrial research and experimental development, IP registration, industrial design, certification and licensing-offer preparation. Open to scientific institutions and to companies collaborating with SMEs. It starts earlier than most Latvian instruments, at TRL 2–3, which makes it the natural predecessor to the science-intensive startup grant. Watch for a re-opening rather than plan on it.

1. Describe the idea. Company name and a few sentences about the project — registration number and sector are fetched from the registry.
2. Check your chances. Granteon assesses the project against the criteria in Commercialisation Support (Komercializācijas atbalsts) and tells you honestly whether it can be won — before you write.
3. Write the application. The AI writes from your own facts, scores the draft like an award committee, and delivers it field by field within the portal's character limits.
4. Complete the financing. Your own contribution is calculated. You can obtain a signed conditional commitment from an investor, and find consortium partners when the call requires them.
5. Deliver and report. Reporting plan, draft reports and budget tracking after the award — until the final report is filed.
