Programme for Applied Research (Rakendusuuringute programm)

Estonia's flagship company R&D grant, open to companies of any size in the Estonian business register, alone or with partners. It funds applied research and experimental development of new technologies, processes, products and services, plus feasibility studies, materials testing and IP protection. A mandatory preliminary consultation and a positive pre-assessment are prerequisites; competitive applications show a real technological risk, a named research or engineering capability, and quantified market impact.

1. Describe the idea. Company name and a few sentences about the project — registration number and sector are fetched from the registry.
2. Check your chances. Granteon assesses the project against the criteria in Programme for Applied Research (Rakendusuuringute programm) and tells you honestly whether it can be won — before you write.
