Industry Loan (Tööstuslaen)

A subordinated co-financing loan that closes the gap when a bank will fund only part of a manufacturing investment. It targets SMEs in manufacturing, mining, electricity generation and distribution, and waste treatment. EIS lends up to EUR 2 million but never more than 40 % of total project cost, for up to 15 years. Equity and self-financing together must make up at least 50 % of the amount sought, and the process starts at the bank, not at EIS. Weapons are an excluded sector, so this is not a defence instrument.

1. Describe the idea. Company name and a few sentences about the project — registration number and sector are fetched from the registry.
2. Check your chances. Granteon assesses the project against the criteria in Industry Loan (Tööstuslaen) and tells you honestly whether it can be won — before you write.

Inntil €2 000 000. Funding rate: Tiered above the partner bank's rate: up to 20 % of project cost at the bank rate, 20–30 % at +1 pp, 30–40 % at +2 pp. EIS finances no more than 40 % of total project cost.
