The core public funding for religious and life stance communities in Norway outside the Church of Norway. The grant follows membership rather than projects: a fixed rate per qualifying member, claimed from the county governor each year by 1 March. At least 100 qualifying members are required from 2026, and communities already registered with 100 keep the grant down to 85. Annual report and accounts are due 10 April, and late or missing reporting is the most common reason communities lose the payment.
