Up to GBP 350,000 per proposal, duration up to 12 months with possible extension to 18 at the testing phase. Addresses Home Office and NPSA priorities — security in the broad sense, not defence in the narrow sense. Cycle 1 was marked «UK submissions only». Worth following for dual-use companies.

1. Describe the idea. Company name and a few sentences about the project — registration number and sector are fetched from the registry.
2. Check your chances. Granteon assesses the project against the criteria in UKDI Security Open Call and tells you honestly whether it can be won — before you write.
