A EUR 70 million measure, of which EUR 35 million is in the currently open round, for companies building or expanding production of military or dual-use products: new factory construction, production technology and supporting infrastructure. ALTUM provides either a loan or a guarantee, both with a capital rebate. A prior opinion from the Ministry of Defence confirming the military or dual-use character of the product is a precondition, and it is the real constraint on the timeline: about 10 working days for a company that already holds a military goods licence, but up to four months for one that does not. Official sources differ on whether large enterprises qualify, and the regulation sets a minimum eligible project cost that may exclude smaller SMEs from the loan route — check both with ALTUM before counting on it.
