Norwegian actors with a formal role in a Horizon Europe or European Defence Fund proposal get a fixed amount per submitted proposal: coordinator NOK 200,000–400,000 by project size, work-package leader NOK 70,000, participant NOK 50,000, EIC Accelerator stage 2 and STEP Scale-up NOK 100,000, EDF coordinator NOK 500,000 (≈€4,300–43,100, converted). Paid only if the proposal scores at or above the EU threshold. Coordinators get NOK 150,000 extra for including participants from Ukraine or African countries. Budget NOK 41M in 2026.
