Startup Support under the Startup Law (Jaunuzņēmumu atbalsts)

The operating instrument of Latvia's Startup Law, for Latvian capital companies with high growth potential that have either raised qualified venture capital or are developing an innovative product ready for early-stage testing. Combines a payroll grant of up to 45 % for highly qualified staff with reduced social contributions. Support runs 12 months, extended to 24 where at least EUR 150 000 of early-stage VC has been raised, and up to five years in total.
